Rainbow trout

Rainbow trout species belong to the Salmonidae family. this species has different appearances; it depends on the subspecies and the age of the fish. Fish have distinct patterns and hues as adults, juveniles, and spawning fish. Additionally, the many subspecies have a variety of colours. Silver scales are present with subtle pink or red undertones on the adult’s body.  At the time of the spawning, their colouring darkens, and the colour of their red scales intensifies.
